Sold Champions on the Move

Thank You, Steve Vicars and Barb Baker for purchasing our select herd. You got the very best that we had kept for ourselves.

Timberwind Females
"The select herd"

Grand Champion males cannot do it all by themselves. To consistently produce champion offspring they must have great females to service. Here is our select group of the very best females that we kept after 25 years of selective breeding. Watch for their produce!

Timberwind's
Catnip

This young lady is very correct with
wonderful fine fiber. Just look at her at
17 months of age. We owned both the
dam and grand dam and their offspring
have all been winners.

Catnip has not been shown but her 2
year old full sister, Timberwind's Class
Act is winning Grand Championships for
her new owner.

Watch this girl grow up and look out
show ring!

Tomallos Tacoma xTimberwind's Cat's Meow

Timberwind's
Keepsake

Just look at this young lady at 4 months of age. She is even better than her picture and as good as any llama we have ever produced. That and the fact that she comes from a long line of Champions is why we kept her and are adding her to our very "select" herd.

Watch this girl grow up and look out show ring!

At just 10 months of age

Tomallos Tacoma x Big Sky's Colliope

Big Sky's
Calliope

A correct, tall, stretchy, Fiduciary
grand daughter with fiber to die for,
Calliope has produced nothing but
Champions. Her off spring, including
the great Citizen Cain and Cool Cat
have all been Grand Champions.
Her 2001 cria, Yankee now
residing in Holland as a herd sire.

Her 2002 Tacoma baby we named
Calypso. She was a paint female
with that special "wet" fiber. She
has moved to Cleveland. She placed 3rd at the 2003 Grand National

Her fall 2003 cria is a male out of
Masterlock we named Confuscious.
He is going to be something special and we have kept him as our future herd sire.

Big Sky's Franco x Big Sky's Champagne
Her fall 2004 Tacoma cria, Timberwinds Keepsake is another one of our keepers. She is a tall paint girl with fiber to die for. This one is a sure winner.

Timberwind's
Major Colors

Color is a great example of the next generation. She was in 2 shows in 2004 and won a Grand Championship in both shows including the Heavy wool Grand at the 2004 Ohio State Fair.

At 18 months of age she already weighs 270 pounds and will be bred to Tomollas Tacoma late this spring.

Watch for her kids. With such a family history of Champions they are sure to be winners.

Peruvian Major Deal x Timberwinds Mitzi

Timberwind's Confuscious

Our junior herd sire is already showing signs of wanting to breed. At 18 months of age we are using him to test our bred females.

He is one good looking suri male. As a juvenile he was in 2 shows. He won first place at the Ohio State fair and then won Reserve Grand at his next show.

Masterlock x Big Sky's Colliope

We were very pleased with the package of show qaulity llamas that were purchased by Craig and Janet Swindler from North Carolina.

Tomollas Tacoma

Tacoma is just in his sixth year of breeding but he has already consistently sired the best offspring we have ever produced. With his history of winning Grand Championships (he was an ALSA Halter Champion as a juvenile and the Heavy Wool Grand Champion at the 1999 Ohio State Fair) the Tacoma kids are consistently winning Grand Championships.

Grand Champion males cannot do it all by themselves. To consistently produce champion offspring they must have great females to service. Here is a our "keeper" female herd now listed for sale. Please excuse the work clothes these girls are wearing.

Timberwind's
Mitzi

Simply stated Mitzi is one of the
best producers we have ever had.
No matter who she is bred to she
produces champions. A Moreno
Marakesh cross that is very
correct, colorful, with silky fiber
and that special style that is so
hard to get.

Her 2003 Major Deal female,
Major Colors is one we kept
correct, stretchy and very, very
colorful.

Chilean Moreno x Timberwind's Miriah

White Bird's
Kameo

This member of our herd is a
very correct, flashy white female
with fiber that is less than 20
microns with small, finger sized
locks all the way to the skin.

Her first cria, King Tut, has suri
locks. He now lives in Kentucky.
Her second cria, Klondyke was a red
and white suri paint, Major Deal son,
that was born in 10 degree
temperatures and simply didn't
make it.

great female in Georgia, and
Monarch who continues to win
Grand Championships for the
Donaldsons.

Timberwind's
Cat's Meow

A correct, stretchy girl that was a 4-H
llama plus always placed at the head of
her class in the show ring. Cat's Meow
has already produced a gray, Grand
Champion female. Her 2000 Marakesh
cria, Chicago, moved to Florida.

Her fall 2001 male, Cassanova
is the best she has ever produced.
He now lives with the Wattigneys.

In May 2003 she gave us a Tacoma
female, Class Act that has that special,
"here I am" look and has move.

Mr. Impressive x Big Sky's Copycat

Timberwind's
Charisma

Another Marakesh daughter that is
an ALSA Halter Champion. She is
very correct and has that special
look we try to breed for.

Her first cria, Captain Bligh, won
Grand Champion at the Ohio State
Fair and sold as a Jr. herdsire.
Her latest female cria, Carissa,
went to Florida and her fall 2001
female cria, Yesterday, another
multiple Grand Champion winner, is
now living in Holland.

 Macho's Marakesh x Big Sky's Champagne

Big Sky's Crescent

Cresent is a 15 year old Catman
daughter that simply just keeps
producing winners. Her off-spring that
have become champions are too
numerous to list. Her 2002 cria is a
appy female cria named Timberwind's
Calico
The 2003 cria is a mostly white Tacoma
male we named
Crusader.
Crescent has always been one of those
wonderful females that we would like
to clone.

GNLC Catman x Big Sky's Cookie

Cinnamon Twist

Twist is a daughter of the great Franklin
with size, presence, and exquisite
conformation.

Her son, Chisom, is a junior herdsire in
Florida and her Moreno female, Carmal
Candy, has won at every show entered.
She has moved to Holland.

Her son, Count Graystone, is an
exquisite, gray male that just won 1st
place at his first show, the Florida State
Fair. She just gave us a set of Tacoma
twin females.

Franklin x Big Sky's Cookie

Juvenile Females

Timberwind's Charade
Charade was born on 9/11 as one of Twist's identical twin females. Regretfully, her sister only weighed 12 pounds and did not make it. The two girls looked identical in every way including all the markings and the body type. They sure looked like true identical twins.

It is always hard to lose one but we sure are tickled with this wonderful stylish young female. She is a "Tacoma" kid all the way. She is 5 months old in this picture stay tuned for more pictures as she grows up

Tacoma x Cinnamon Twist

Indeya's Unnamed Female Cria
This young lady has one black ear and black feet. Her fiber is very fine and very silky. On top of that she conformation is very correct. This picture was taken at 2 weeks of age.

This girl will be a front pasture llama.
Indeya x Tacoma

Juvenile Males

Timberwind's Crusader
Here is a an almost white Tacoma male
(he has some tan and gray on his back).
He is another on of those very correct
Crescent kids with Tacoma's fiber

This guy is only 5 months old in this
picture and look at him already. Look for
more pictures as he matures.

Tacoma x Big Sky's Crescent

Timberwind's Mozart
Here is Miss Marla's 2003 male cria at
five months of age. He is very much
another Tacoma clone, correct, tall, and
with fiber to die for.

As with all of Marla's other offspring this
one is also sure to be a show winner.

He is for sale, watch for more pictures as
he grows up.

Tacoma x Timberwind's Miss Marla

Timberwind's Killarney
This young man has a rough start. At a month of age he broke his front leg. Being a Major Deal son that show great potential at such a young age we decided to have Dr. Anderson do surgery. He ended up with three screws in his leg and is doing very well. He already is running without a limp.

Watch for him as he grows up. He will win a lot of shows.
