Almost all of the llamas at Kauffman's Timberwind Llamas are offered for sale. We have a small but very select herd and have comprehensive records and reproduction information on each llama. See our Llamas for Sale page for our current offerings.

Each of our llamas are priced at what we consider their value to our breeding program. For example, a female that consistently produces Grand Champions is generally priced higher than a weanling with no reproduction record. The conformation quality of the animal also greatly influences pricing. Considering that we breed for Grand Champions in the show ring correct conformation is very important and commands higher prices.

Our prices are reasonable for high quality llamas that start from $400 for pet quality males and geldings. Our female prices start at $1,000 and go as high as $8,000 for some of our best females. Many of our females are very affordable.

We generally have some females for sale. We pride ourselves with our select female herd. We have worked for 25 years developing one of the best female herds in the nation that produce quality, comformationally correct show champions with exquisite fiber and a friendly temperament.

We normally have herdsire quality, young, heavy wool and suri males for sale. Our young males not only portray that flawless, correct conformation but have the highly sought after very fine and suri like fiber. Sometimes one of our breeding males is also on our sale list.

Our Tacoma and Major Deal offspring are seriously worth considering. They are the best we have ever produced.

There are sometimes geldings available as pets or guard llamas.

Kauffman's Timberwind Llamas offers a number of different types of discounts.

• Discounts on package purchases are offered.
• There are pricing considerations on multiple purchases within a year.
• Purchase credits can be obtained by multiple breedings to our herd sires.
• We offer free delivery within 500 miles for multiple llama purchases.
• Females are sometimes sold with a free breeding to one of our Grand Champion males.

Kauffman's Timberwind Llamas guarantees that all llamas sold are in excellent health and are reproductively sound. A live birth guarantee is also offered on bred females and any breeding to our males.

Should any llamas be proven to not be in good health or not reproductively sound, Timberwind will provide a replacement llama.

Should a live birth not occur with a female bred to our studs a rebreeding is offered.
